Kommandr privacy
Updated September 18, 2026.
Accounts and membership
Kommandr uses Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in. Account and membership records are used to provide access to the app and support your subscription. Payments are processed by Helcim; payment details entered in its checkout are handled by Helcim.
Your work
The desktop app stores project and session data on your Mac. When you connect an AI provider, repository service, or issue tracker, information needed for the actions you request is sent to that service. Those services have their own privacy policies and account settings.
Mobile access and notifications
The mobile app uses your camera to scan a pairing code from your desktop. It keeps the pairing information in secure device storage. Remote access routes requests to your paired Mac through the Kommandr relay. If you enable notifications, the app registers a push token so updates can be delivered through Expo and Apple.
Your choices
You can disconnect a paired Mac from the mobile app, revoke notification and camera permissions in device settings, and manage your membership from your account page. For questions about your account data or to request deletion, email me@colbymchenry.com.
